“私聊”用英语怎么说？

最简单的就是缩写 PM，它的完整形式是 private message [ˈpraɪvət ˈmesɪdʒ]，表示私人信息，即私信。

私聊还有一种地道说法叫 side-text，意思是“小窗口私聊”。

Side-text means while you are texting or having an online conversation with a group of people, you also have a private conversation with someone in the group.

Side-text指你在跟一群人发短信或者在线群聊的同时，跟群里的某个人私聊的行为，也就是我们常说的“小窗口私聊”。

提到，可以用 mention 这个单词来表示。

@全体成员就是 mention everyone / all group members.

那么有人@你，就是 someone mention you.

不过加好友千万不要说 plus friend，而是要用 add （添加;加;增加;）这个词，添加某人为好友就是 add sb.

发送好友申请则为：send sb a friend request.
